They were computer science and engineering students who wanted to make it easy for people to alert authorities or friends that violence was occurring; to overcome the stigma of speaking out against violence.
Note that Heba is from Syria.
Built app and developed material in 9 months for Microsoft Imagine Cup competition
Part of this app is their compelling story, passion of the youth team, and conviction that they can make a difference [2]
