Letters to a Young Manager

The Gas Station, #246
LTYM >

Please note that this letter is in-process; the following are my notes

Dear Adam,
***
Steve's story about working in the as station during high school in Smithtown. He was known as "flash,' given the speed with which he went out to meet the cars at the full service island.

I mentioned in a 6/1/08 note to Maureen Doyle that this was what my brother used to call this the theory of the gas station... it could be empty for hours, and then everyone comes at once and there's a line. [When it refers to donors and opportunities,] It's a problem you want to have!
