Please note that this letter is in-process; the following are my notes
Dear Adam,
***
Lee's story about the water color painting class her friend attended; starting with a very fuzzy, out-of-focus slide projection; the professor says: paint what you see. Then after 10 minutes, he focuses it a notch: paint what you see. Taught the layering of water-colors, but it was a metaphor for Lee about how creative thinking time adds a notch of focus each time, until you can see what it is you need to do. The end painting was of a seascape. It was in her home office, and represented her process of determining what it was she wanted to do after leaving Pepsi.
