IT does not have clients; we have partners.

Clients buy a known quantity and do not expect to assume any risk
Partners share in discovery, risk and even design

Need to ask: what is a healthy relationship? What does it look like?
It's characterized by trust, open communications, mutual approach, etc.

IT needs to look at our business partners as if they were our spouses or significant other; and vice versa.
