Letters to a Young Manager

Robo-Cheese, #621
LTYM >

Please note that this letter is in-process; the following are my notes

Dear Adam,
***
I tell this story many times about my brother Steve and I being mesmerized by the robots running up and down these huge aisles of cheese stacked to the ceiling in the town of Gruyere, Switzerland. Stopping at a particular column, they pull a wheel of cheese out, spin it while brushing on brine, then wiping it, flipping it and putting it back in its spot, then moving to the next wheel scheduled (they did not appear to be in order!) An example of automation or simply fascination with the gadgets?

Caption: And the robot that brines and wipes each roll :-)
***
Sincerely yours,
Ed
