Letters to a Young Manager

The Windshield Effect, #266
LTYM >

Please note that this letter is in-process; the following are my notes

Dear Adam,
***
Story of NY driver being aggressive in ways they wouldn't face-to-face. why? The windshield effect; it creates a safe barrier. Same phenomenon with mobile phones and texting among teens. It provide a barrier of boldness that none would do face-to-face. This enables conversations, but can also hinder them. Where do we learn to pick up the subtle body language and intonation cues? Does this make it more difficult for tech-savvy millennial to work on business teams?
***
Sincerely yours,
Ed
