Letters to a Young Manager

Future Shock, #545
LTYM >

Please note that this letter is in-process; the following are my notes

Dear Adam,
***
Sam Member's story in 1/6/20 email. I had sent him this Buzzfeed story, "24 Pictures That Prove 2019 Is Basically The Damn Future," Dec 30, 2019, https://www.buzzfeed.com/daves4/2019-future

"I remember a lot of the "old" stuff. I think that I mentioned that in the 80's during a lecture to MS in Information Science at Pratt I said that:
1) Their kids would never know what a typewriter was and
2) Their kids would never know that a phone, TV and computer were different things and
3) Their kids would have chips in their heads

The class thought I was nuts. So, assuming that the class was in their early 20's, their kids could have born in the 1980's and their kids could have been born in the late 2000's and their kids could be coming around just about now..."
***
Sincerely yours,
Ed
