8) Laugh: some of the bullshit is funny if you step back and watch it fly. Also, humor disarms a heated discussion faster than anything I know. You have that gift. Use it.

May tell the story of the customer service rep in the department store. Unhappy woman threw the shoes that broke at the rep. THe rep ducked and said, while you figure out what to do for an encore, why don't I go in the back to get you another pair of shoes
